Neurofax® EEG Configuration Settings Survey

  • Hyperventilation
    Neurofax® hyperventilation configuration allows for variable HV & Post-HV durations, and automatic annotations are entered at regular intervals to chronical HV progress. Choose your preferred settings:

  • Photic Stimulation
    Neurofax® allows three distinct runs of photic stimulation to be configured, each with its own stimulation and pause durations. Type your preferred settings, for example:
    Preferred Run: “1,3,5,10,15,16,17,18, 20, 25, 30” “Odds 3-25”, “Evens 4-34”
    Stim Time: On for 10 seconds
    Pause Time: Off for 5 seconds

  • Annotations
    Annotations in Neurofax® allow up to 40 customizable presets. The first 10 will appear on the event toolbar for quick access when recording. Enter the preset annotations exactly as they should appear. Consider capitalization, punctuation, etc.:

  • We have default annotations available check the box to use the defaults.

  • Electrode Names
    Each electrode within Neurofax® can be renamed. Enter any preferred electrode names exactly as they should appear. Consider capitalization, punctuation, etc.:

    • Leave blank to make no changes to the Electrode name
    • X1 is typically used for EKG

  • Acquisition Montages
    Thirty-six montages can be associated with each testing protocol. For each montage, print out this page and provide the needed information. Provide a montage name, the order in the list of montages, and the electrodes names for channel grid 1 & 2, and notes for special channels.
